Golden Temple, Amritsar, India | 2013
Your photos really ‘speak’ Uday. The two men look content, a scene of tranquility. Interesting how you’ve captured the depth of field and a clarity in the historic buildings. They may be in the distance but they’re as much a statement as the subjects in the foreground.
I agree with “Nature on the Edge” above Uday; lovely picture of a favourite place of mine (I’ll be in Amritsar this autumn!!)
Stunning shot! The reflection gives a calm and beautiful finish.
There is such a sense of calm in this photo-the reflections in the water and the men speaking-the splendor of the temple-visual poetry here-it is wonderful Uday!
Wow, have neither seen nor heard of this Uday. Beautiful capture as always
a peaceful moment well captured; eternally shared

A really beautiful image Uday !
Stunning shot Uday! We did a whirlwind daytrip from Chennai to Amritsar and back a couple of years ago!! Shall have to plan for a longer stay.
Marvelous in every way.
This capture is really wonderful! What a beautiful place to have a conversation!
It’s really beautiful there and a stunning capture indeed. Thanks for sharing. :)
wonderful shot! i love how you captured the mood in the scene!
Beautiful! The feel of the place and the two people discussing so relaxed, is very well captured. Awesome!
There are three “planes” in the depth of field and they all speak. The two men in discussion, the soft water and the not so soft palaces in the very background. Love the color and the composition. Thanks JD
I love this — wonderful photo, Uday. Your photos always make me want to visit India!
This is a stunning shot – what a great story it tells.
nice pic where you have captured this amazing piece of architecture as well as people
Terrific composition :)
A beautiful quiet moment, surrounded by splendour. I love he low-key ambience.
The concept is nice, the calmness of the photo says it all
beautiful….love the way you capture the essence of the moment in the pictures…you have the art in your photography Uday….
This is one short story again. I write short stories, you capture them! Brilliant capture yet again!
Such a peaceful moment you have captured in this photo. It’s a beautiful use of conceptual contrast between the men in the foreground and the magnificent temple in the background.
